Learn From Former NCAA Athletes
Part of our mission at TCSA is to share the experiences of former NCAA athletes in an effort to help current young athletes and their parents navigate the recruiting process. We are excited to share that the first four of these former athlete profiles are now ready to view for TCSA Members.
We asked Canadian student-athletes who competed in the NCAA in Softball, Men's Basketball, Women's Soccer and Women's Volleyball questions such as these:
Did you feel prepared as both a student and an athlete when you got to school in the US?
If you could give one piece of advice to a grade 10 or 11 student looking to compete in the NCAA what would it be? Counter to that, what advice should they ignore?
What was a challenge that you encountered in your first year that set you up for later success? Do you have a favourite challenge that you overcame?
What’s one mistake you made during the recruitment process?
If you want to see what they said, login or become a TCSA Member for free here.
